This training manual is the result of wide collaboration, involving several people. We can't name everyone who helped in the early stages, discussing ideas, putting us in touch with potential partner organizations and so on. We owe them a great deal.

FEMNET is extremely grateful to Pauline Nyamweya who prepared this SRHR advocacy manual and to Florence Baingana who helped with the editing. FEMNET wishes to acknowledge the following people who carried out the sexual and reproductive health training that led to the development of this manual; they are Pauline Nyamweya, Monica Kirya Twesiime and Florence Baingana in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania respectively.

FEMNET would also like to extend her appreciation to the staff of the following organizations who provided immeasurable support in preparing and carrying out the workshops during which the manual was pretested and prepared the reports following the workshops--Forum for Women in Developement (FOWODE) in Uganda and Tanzania Media Women's Association (TAMWA) in Tanzania. Their staff worked tiressly to ensure that the corroborative workshops ended in success. The workshops provided a veritable play ground on which we find out and pre tested a good part of the research and information in the proposal.
